This 10-day Antarctic expedition combines the thrill of sailing across the legendary Drake Passage with the convenience of flying back to South America. After departing Ushuaia by ship, the journey explores the wildlife-rich islands and glacial landscapes of the Antarctic Peninsula before returning by charter flight from King George Island. The result is more time experiencing Antarctica’s spectacular wildlife, towering icebergs and dramatic polar scenery.
November to March offers the best conditions to explore the Antarctic Peninsula, with longer daylight hours, milder weather, and active wildlife. This is the ideal time to experience the Drake Passage, enjoy Zodiac cruises through iceberg-filled bays, spend extended time in pristine landscapes, encounter Antarctic wildlife, and travel in comfort aboard a modern expedition ship.

Board your expedition ship and sail through the Beagle Channel as you begin your journey toward Antarctica.
Sail across the famous Drake Passage while attending expert lectures, spotting seabirds and whales, and preparing for your Antarctic landings.
Explore the spectacular landscapes of the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula. Daily Zodiac excursions reveal penguin colonies, glaciers, and wildlife-rich shores.
Disembark at King George Island and board a charter flight over the Drake Passage to Punta Arenas.
