Sailing from Ushuaia across the Drake Passage, the journey explores the spectacular fjords, glaciers, and wildlife habitats of the Antarctic Peninsula before continuing deeper into the icy wilderness. November to March offers the best conditions to explore deeper into Antarctica, with extended daylight, more accessible routes, and increased wildlife activity. This is the ideal time to attempt crossing the Antarctic Circle, explore dramatic bays and glaciers, witness the scenery of the Gerlache Strait, visit penguin rookeries and research stations, and encounter whales, seals, and seabirds.
Arrive in Ushuaia, the gateway to Antarctica. Explore the charming town at the edge of Tierra del Fuego before your expedition begins.
Board your expedition vessel and sail through the Beagle Channel, leaving South America behind as you begin your Antarctic adventure.
Journey across the legendary Drake Passage. Attend expert lectures, watch for seabirds and whales, and prepare for your first Antarctic landing.
